Not every story is assigned.

We were there to create seven daily films. But when Nelly Korda surged into the lead, we recognized another story beginning to unfold.

An instinct became a decision.

As the crowds grew and Nelly pulled further ahead, we committed multiple cameras to following her while the daily films continued. We wanted more than golf shots—the reactions, expressions, and moments between them.

What the score couldn’t show.

Nelly still held a commanding lead, but moments of inconsistency caught our attention. We stayed with her, capturing the reactions and uncertainty alongside the brilliance.

We were ready for the moment.

Three cameras covered the closing holes, capturing Nelly’s finish from different perspectives and the emotion surrounding her victory. We’d captured the ending. We didn’t yet understand the full story.

After the Championship

The win came on Sunday. The battle had started long before.

Only after the championship did we begin to understand the full story. Listening to Nelly reflect on the pressure and struggles of 2025 sent us back through earlier interviews, archival footage, and the moments we’d captured that week. Suddenly, even Saturday’s uncertainty carried a different meaning.

We’d been asked to create a championship recap. But what we discovered was a more personal story about everything it took to reach that victory. We pitched a different direction to the leadership team overseeing Chevron’s championship films. They trusted our vision and gave us the time and creative freedom to tell it.

One story. Two ways to tell it.

Chevron & First Tee·Pebble Beach·2026

The relationship grew. So did our role.

At Pebble Beach, we led pre-production, developed interview questions, filmed the experience, and advised on the creative direction and how the stories would be shared.

Story planning, identifying people and moments, and preparing the coverage.

Creating questions designed to uncover the juniors’ experiences and the human story.

Filming the people, interviews, reactions, and moments across the experience.

Helping determine the creative direction, how the three films fit together, and how they could be presented and shared.

“Billy brings more than production to a project.

Two First Tee juniors smiling on the course, one giving a thumbs-up

He helps shape the story, thinks through every detail, and makes the process clear for our team and clients. I trust him to lead on-site, coordinate interviews, and capture what we need—even when I can’t be there.”
